Yes, we did meet on a dating app! I was still on that app ‘by mistake’ – subscription renewed automatically but I hardly every went on it … so it took a while before I saw his message … 2 weeks to be exact … and he took a while to respond … two weeks exactly, again! …. We both were living in Lucca but I was staying in Sardinia (thing is, when he first wrote to me I was still in Lucca … but I didn’t see his message until after my arrival in Sardinia), one way ticket, no plans to go home anytime soon …. so he took a ferry!
